News und Meldungen vom Neckarsteig

The Odenwald further qualifies as a hiking destination through the certification of "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland".

Four businesses on the Neckarsteig hiking trail have already been certified as hiker-friendly accommodation and gastronomy businesses: the Schlosshotel Horneck from Gundelsheim, the Protestant youth education center Neckarzimmern, the Hotel & Restaurant Lamm and the Mosbacher Brauhaus from Mosbach. From now on, the hiking region can be seen and, above all, experienced even better.

The certified companies join the approximately 1,600 companies established by the German Hiking Association. With the excellent hosts, guests can be sure that they are at the right address. The hosts have for example up-to-date information on the weather, competent hiking information and a packed lunch ready for day trips. So ideal conditions for an unforgettable hiking experience in the Odenwald.

The quality mark offers orientation for tourists with an affinity for hikers. It is the only certificate in Germany that is awarded for tourist accommodation in the hiking area. The equipment and services are optimally designed to meet the needs of the hiker. The certificate, combined with the logo, represents a convincing competitive advantage throughout Germany.
