Experts for the landscape experience
You can meet them between the Rhine, Main and Neckar rivers: The rangers in the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park. They impart exciting knowledge about landscape and cultural history to hiking groups. Or they are out and about with a lot of children, playfully initiating them into the secrets of nature. The rangers are practitioners of environmental education and their offer is diverse.
Nature with the professional
Many rangers are geoscientists or biologists. They have also completed a comprehensive training in the Geo-Nature Park with IHK certificate. In addition, there are solid further training courses in pedagogy, communication as well as in nature and culture interpretation. The name "Geopark Ranger" stands for quality. They are the ambassadors of the Geo-Nature Park - and your competent contact persons!
Fun, games and environmental education
In addition to offers for adults, the rangers have developed nature education programs for children and young people. As a supplement to lessons for schoolchildren, at vacation games and birthday parties or for children's and youth institutions, they provide practical environmental education in the categories of geology and geography, water, forest and nature experience, agriculture and history.
