Stolzeneck ruin

In 1612/13 the castle was demolished by the Palatine Count due to its dilapidation and high maintenance costs. From shield wall you have a wonderful view over the Neckar river to Eberbach.
Although the castle ruin is located only about 2 kilometres south of Rockenau, it is just on the boundary of the neighbouring municipality of Neunkirchen.
