The 'Hoppe Hut' with its view of the Neckar Valley is an inviting spot to take a break. The Stone Table was built in 1797 as a resting place for hunting parties. At that time, the view to Hirschhorn Castle was still free. The Neckarsteig follows the river around the 'Tannenkopf' hill. The 'Gretengrund', a stream running parallel to the 'Gammelsbachtal', offers plenty of shade on hot summer days. A beautifully situated path above the railway line provides views of the Neckar or the beautiful town of Eberbach, directly on the Neckar. In the park along the river in Eberbach you can watch the river barges and excursion boats, or admire the impressive bronze sculptures. The entire stage is characterized by mature trees.
